Karen Marie Cramer Birmingham

Karen Marie Cramer Birmingham went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Karen, better known as KK, was 55 years old, born April 5, 1966 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Linda and James Rodney Cramer Sr. and had a wonderful childhood in Minden, Louisiana. On April 29, 1989, she married the love of her life, Robert "Bubba" Adler Birmingham Sr. in Shreveport, Louisiana and later welcomed their two precious children, Adler and Elise Birmingham. KK was larger than life. Her love for Jesus spread joy through her home, church, tennis courts, theatre stages and occasionally the "big screen." She delighted most in spending time with family and playing with and loving on her grandbabies. She found peace in talking to her hummingbirds and loved recording all of her favorite moments in photos. She was incredibly loving and thoughtful, always remembering and honoring birthdays and special events. KK was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, great-aunt, faithful friend and servant to her savior Jesus. In the last year of KK\'s life, she was continually inspired and encouraged by her tennis family and found much comfort and hope in the ninety-first chapter of Psalm. Just as The Word says, she has been delivered and she dwells in the shelter of the Most High. KK is survived by her husband, Robert Adler Birmingham Sr.; son and wife, Adler and Britny Birmingham; daughter, Elise Birmingham; grandchildren, Pierce, Lisbet, Celest and one on the way; father, Rodney Cramer; sister and husband, Angela and Johnny Alexander; brother and wife, Roddy and Andrea Cramer; brother, Rick Cramer; many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own and and dozens upon dozens of great-nieces and nephews. All of these she impacted greatly and loved incredibly well. Please join us for a celebration of her life. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 27, 2021 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA 71101. Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, August 28, 2021 beginning 11:00 a.m. at Shreveport Community Church, 5720 Buncombe Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71129. Burial service to immediately follow.
