Kathryn Sue Kamm

Kathryn Sue \"Kat\" Kamm passed away, Friday, July 2, 2021 after a lengthy illness. She had a lifelong love of art, music, and children. Her love of art came from her grandmother, Mary Louise Kamm. This love was exhibited in her experiences as a teacher and through artistic projects that she made for herself and others. She frequently worked and volunteered in the Noel Children's Ministry and the Noel Food Pantry. She always loved children and was known as \"Ant Kat\" by her nieces and nephews. She also was a foster parent for several children as well as a nanny. She attended and graduated from Trinity Heights Christian Academy and later attended Centenary College of Louisiana, Northeast Louisiana University, and then graduated from Delta State University. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Richard C. Kamm, Sr; her paternal grandparents, Joe and Mary Kamm; and her maternal grandparents, Edward and Wilma Gilliland. She is survived by her mother, Beverly Sue Kamm; her two brothers, Dr. Richard C. Kamm, Jr and Joseph E. Kamm and wife, Rebecca; nieces, Sarah Rhiannon Kamm, Lillian Eve Kamm; and nephew, Joseph Ryan Kamm. A Memorial Service will be held at Noel Memorial United Methodist Church, 520 Herndon Ave, Shreveport, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021 with visitation beginning one hour preceding. The service will be officiated by Reverend Dave Fortuna and Reverend Max Zehner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be sent to the Noel Food Pantry, 520 Herndon St, Shreveport, LA 71101.
