MANY, LA - Funeral services will be held for Kathryn King Veuleman Robbins, 76, at Bayou Scie United Methodist Church of Zwolle, LA at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Rev. Nathaniel Langford will officiate. Interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Many, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home in Shreveport on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There will be a reception immediately following the graveside service at the family's residence.
Mrs. Robbins was born on November 1, 1938 in Shreveport, LA and entered into rest on December 25, 2014. She was a long time member of St. Matthias Episcopal Church in Shreveport before joining Bayou Scie Methodist in Zwolle.
Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her husbands, Andy Cato (the father of her children) and Glynn H. Veuleman, also by her father, George W. King. She is survived by her loving husband, George Robbins, Jr.; 3 sons, David Cato and wife, Cheryl, of Tulsa, OK, Eric Cato of Many, LA and Ben Cato and wife, Michelle of Many, LA; 2 brothers, Spencer King and wife, Cindy of Niceville, FL and Russell King and wife, Betty of Shreveport, LA; 7 grandchildren, Major Anthony Cato and wife, Kelly of US Army; Gianna Cato Rapson and husband, Blaine of Tulsa, OK; Christopher Cato of Weed, CA; Brittany Cato of Many, LA; Chelsey Cato of Lafayette, LA; Eric Cato of Many, LA; Jacqueline Smith and Travis Jensen of Tulsa, OK; 3 great-grandchildren; Elena, Emily and Ethan; very special niece, Donna Sue King and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Honoring Mrs. Robbins as pallbearers will be Shan Allison, Jay King, Duane King, Glenn Lookenott, Buddy McMilleon and Paul Mitchell III.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob DeMarco and David Noble.
