Keith Rowell

HOMER, LA: Funeral services were held for Mr. Keith "Tiny" Rowell, 60, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer, LA on Thursday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Brian Thurman, officiating. Interment followed at Arlington Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Mr. Rowell was born August 9, 1954 in Homer, LA to Floyd and Margaret Rowell. He entered into rest on Monday, May 25, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. Mr. Rowell was an avid hunter and fisherman. Watching his grandson play ball was something he thoroughly enjoyed, also. Mr. Rowell drove a truck for Fowler Trucking and later worked as the facility manager with I.E. Miller for over 22 years. Mr. Rowell was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Robert Rowell. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Rowell; loving wife of 31 years, Martha Baxley Rowell; a son, Scott Rowell; two grandchildren, Tristian and Addyson Rowell; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Kirby Potts, Sr., Kirby Potts, Jr., Jimmy Sims, Timmy "Boo Boo" Sims, Bryan Robinette and Alan Fanning. Honorary pallbearers were Olin Prince, John Foster and Wayne Perry. For friends considering memorials honoring Mr. Rowell, his family suggests the First Baptist Church Daycare.
