Kelley Christopher Poole

Kelley Poole was 49 years old when he passed from this Earth on August 8, 2022. He was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana and later lived in Longview, Texas where he graduated high school.  He moved to Pearland, Texas in 2014 for the “job of a lifetime” when he became a Corrosion Specialist at Exxon Mobil Pipeline in Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Dianne Stubblefield Poole, and is survived by his dad, Russel W. Poole, and sister, Tracey Poole Ezell. He has a niece, Taylor Booker McDonald and her spouse, Danny McDonald, and great-niece, Harleigh Rae; and two nephews, Tyler M. Booker and his spouse, Camila and Trenton M. Booker.

While it’s tragic to think about Kelley leaving us too soon, he left behind a lifetime of memories.  Kelley’s love of laughter didn’t end with his death. We will always have wonderful memories of his jokes, his contagious laugh, his pranks, and his love. He never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with a tree. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A memorial service for Kelley is scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Harry Forester.
