SHREVEPORT, LA - Kenneth Loy Crook, 78, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017. Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA, and the visitation will be prior to the service at 10:30 a.m. Graveside service will follow in the Northwest Louisiana Veteran Cemetery in Keithville, LA with full military honors. Officiating will be Rev. Frank Gunn.
Kenneth was born July 7, 1938 in Ripley, Tennessee. He was retired from the Air Force, where he worked in navigations and was an Electronic Warfare Officer. He flew over 120 missions in the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Charlotte Crook, and sisters, Donna Crook and Betty Crook Passmore.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Beverly Louise McDade Crook; sons, Donald Warren Crook and wife, Pamela, Daniel Kenneth Crook and wife, Dixie, Dennis Ray Crook and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Joshua Crook, Ashley Crook, Chloe Crook, Victoria Tucker, Kaitlyn and husband, Daniel Elsea, and Michael Harris; great grandchild, Evelyn Tucker; siblings, Gordon Crook and wife, Paula, Patricia Land and husband, Mike, Alan Crook and wife, Diane, and Mary England; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Crook, Michael Harris, and Daniel Elsea.
