HOUSTON, LA: Funeral services will be held for Mr. Kenneth "Britt" Hood, 53, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer, LA on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. R. B. Moore and Dr. Pat Bates, officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery of Homer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
Britt was born February 14, 1964 in Natchitoches, LA to Kenneth Layton and Sara Jo Baker Hood. He entered into rest Monday, March 20, 2017 in Houston, TX.
Britt was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Joel Hood.
He is survived by his mother; a brother, Greg Hood and wife Linda; a niece, Renetta Hood; as well as cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Norman Murphy, Jody Blackwell, Curtis Nelson, Derek London, Tobe Owens and Seth Greene.
In lieu of flowers honoring Britt, his family suggests Homer Wesley Chapel, 3647 Hwy 146, Homer, LA 71040.
