Kenneth Duane Kent

SHREVEPORT, LA- Graveside services for Kenneth Duane Kent, 80, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Blanchard, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Eddie Kent. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Kenneth was born in Shreveport, LA to Walter M. and Mildred M. Kent and passed away on March 16, 2015. He was an MP in the U.S. Army stationed in Hawaii. Kenneth lived most of his life in Shreveport, LA. He was an oil and gas surveyor for Kent and Associates for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marvin T. Kent and Jimmy Lamar Kent; grandson, Kenneth W. (Ken) Kent. Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth D. (Kenny) Kent, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Kent Contreras; grandchildren, David Storti, Stephanie McCarty, Emily Contreras; brother, Freeman Kent and wife, Joyce; sister, Hollis K. Watson and husband Bobbie.
