Kenneth L. McDaniel

Celebration of Life service for Mr. Kenneth L. (Sleepy) McDaniel will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, November 16, 2014, in the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Marty Williams officiating. Kenneth was born January 5, 1944, in Shreveport, LA, to the late Grover and Alma Jones McDaniel and was called to his Heavenly home November 13, 2014. He always enjoyed outdoor sports such as hunting and fishing. Kenneth liked traveling with others. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loving on his dogs. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife; Linda Kay McDaniel. Left to cherish Kenneth's wonderful memories will be his two children, Kenny McDaniel and wife Claire and Tammy Carter and husband Chuck; three grandchildren, Courtney McDaniel, Jonathan Carter and Kaci McDaniel; one great grandchild, Kinley Mejia, three siblings, Mary Ann Stuart, Grover McDaniel Jr. and wife Judy and James McDaniel and wife Brenda along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends.
