Kenneth Alton Pittman

SHREVEPORT, LA - A memorial service for Kenneth Alton Pittman, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2014 at B'nai Zion Congregation, 245 Southfield Rd. Rabbi Dr. Jana De Benedetti will officiate. Kenneth was born in New Orleans on January 3, 1954 and passed away in Shreveport on August 17, 2014. Kenneth had a deep love of life. Golf, fishing, and his family were his greatest joys. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jan; his mother, Dorothy B. Pittman; his brother, Terry Pittman and his wife, Joyce; sons, Douglas Pittman and his wife, Sarah; Alex Pittman and his wife, Ashley; daughter, Jennifer Fussell and her husband, Mitch; and grandchildren, Parker and Eloise Pittman and Matthew and Elizabeth Fussell He was preceded in death by his father, Renfro Alton Pittman and his first wife, Elizabeth. The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Home and to Lucie Grove at WK Hospice for all the love, care and support they gave. The family requests that memorials be made to B'nai Zion Congregation or Grace Home.
