Linden, TX - Funeral services celebrating the life of Kevee Lee Ramsey, age 67 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. with Rev. Wayne Shew officiating. Interment will follow in the Stevens Cemetery in Rodessa, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Monday, July 2nd from 12 Noon until service time.
Mr. Ramsey was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on January 27, 1951 and passed away on June 29, 2018 at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, TX. He was a resident of Linden, TX for 9 years, truck driver for Landstar Trucking Co. for over 20 years. Mr. Ramsey loved spending time with his family, loved to talk, loved to fish and was a farmer, rancher and loved to tend to his cows.
Mr. Ramsey is preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Ramsey; brother, Robbie Van McClellan and Roy Lee Ramsey; sister, Pam Ramsey and daughter, Melissa Riddle. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Jean McClellan of Wingate, TX; his wife of 14 years, Martha Ramsey of Linden, TX; children, Douglas Hartley of Abilene, TX, Walter Hartley and wife, Tamreia of Linden, TX, Kory Ramsey and wife, Jill of Rotan, TX, Rusty Ramsey of Abilene, TX, Mickee Ramsey and fiancé, Bryce of Jackson, MS, Britt Riddle and wife, Nicole of Benton, LA, Kaci Bishop David and husband, Michael of Canton, MS, Debra Riddle of Linden, TX and Traci Jones and husband, Charles of Blanchard, LA. He is also survived by sisters, Teri Ramsey and Megan Moore and husband, Mark of Norman, Ok; brother, Kellee Lee Ramsey of Edmond, OK; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
