Kevin Mark Smith

Graveside services for Kevin Mark Smith, age 58 will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Ida, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. prior to the service. Kevin was born in Minneapolis, MN on January 17, 1959 to Maurice and Marion Smith and passed away on July 24, 2017 at University Health after a lengthy illness. He was a construction worker with L. J. Ernest Highway Construction Company. Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Maurice Smith, Jr. and mother, Marion Smith. He is survived by his son, Kevin Mark Smith, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; daughters, Lindsey Smith of Panola, TX and Lacey Stolzer and husband, Eric of Shreveport, LA. and two grandchildren. Kevin is also survived by his two sisters, Kelly Routsalainen and husband, Brad of Kansas and Shannon Smith of Texas and four brothers, Michael Smith and wife, Debbie of Louisiana, Patrick Smith and wife Mary also of Louisiana, Terrence Smith of Pennsylvania and Daniel Smith and wife, Jackie of Florida. Honoring Kevin as pallbearers will be Michael, Patrick, Terrence, Daniel, Michael, Jr, and Dereck.
