Kyle Jerry Cory

Funeral services for Kyle Jerry Cory, 82, will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Officiating the service will be Pastor James Gstohl. Jerry was born on April 28, 1939 to Kyle L. Cory and Anna Brunson Cory in Colfax, Louisiana and passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jerry was a resident of Shreveport. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and sports and loved playing softball and volleyball. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. They brought him great joy! Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Campbell and Glenda Toups; and brother, Gene Cory. Left to cherish his memory are his children; son, Dennis Cory; daughter, Tina Stader and husband, Ronny; sisters, Reita Ebling, Becky Stone and husband, Dennis; and brother, Danny Cory and wife, Sandra; grandchildren, Jeffrey Etheredge and partner, Skye, Joey Beaird; great-grandchildren, Mason Beaird, Isabella Etheredge and Olivia Etheredge. The family would like to express special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for the excellent care and compassion shown to Jerry during his illness.
