Lafaye F Davidson

Arcadia, LA - Funeral services will be held for Lafaye Franklin Davidson, age 90, at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Bro. Tommy Davidson will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Hurricane Cemetery in Athens. Mrs. Davidson was born January 20, 1925, in Wichita Falls, TX to Roy Franklin and Flossie Colvin. She entered into rest on November 3, 2015, in West Monroe, LA. Lafaye was of the Seventh Day Adventist in Texas. She was a charter member of the Arcadia Service Club, worked at the Council on Aging in Arcadia and a graduate of Draun Business College in Shreveport. Her greatest achievement was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband T.L. "Mutt" Davidson and brother Melvin C. Franklin. She is survived by her sons; Robert Davidson, Eddie Davidson, Danny Davidson, Chris Davidson and Paul Davidson and wife Tanya, by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her sons Robert, Eddie, Danny, Chris, Paul and grandson Jonathan Davidson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Davidson and Patrick McGowan.
