Mom really found the most enjoyment in the simplest of things. These included attending services and Sunday School at Summer Grove Baptist Church, Broadmoor Baptist Church and Holy Nativity Orthodox Church, watching the birds and animals in her backyard, tending to her garden, reading in the evenings, seeing children and grandchildren at play and hosting and visiting with all her family, especially over the holidays. She will always be fondly remembered for her delicious cooking, witty personality and steadfast faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ, through life's trials and tribulations. LaJuana was a consummate caregiver in her nursing career and her most cherished role as wife, mother and grandmother. Honoring LaJuana as pallbearers will be Russell Foster, Wayne Foster, Brett Foster, Steven Foster, Luke Foster and Jeff Norris. Honorary pallbearers are Phil Gordon, Chris Cosse and Robert Howell. The family wants to acknowledge and personally thank the staff at United Home Health Care and Life Path Hospice, especially Laura Bolton and Trence Jones. Family friend Laura Taylor and Sharon Howell who showed much love and compassion for mom over the last year. Lastly, her sons want to especially thank her daughter in law, Ashley Foster, and granddaughters, Addi, Savannah, Millie, Gab, Sax and Mary Katherine for the unconditional love they provided to "Mawmaw" over the last two years. Grant rest eternal in blessed repose, O Lord, to Thy servant LaJuana who has fallen asleep, and make her memory to be eternal.
