KEITHVILLE, LA-Funeral services for Larry Patrick Jackson, 53, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Brother Joben Murray. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 and 8:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the funeral home.
Larry was born on March 17, 1961 in Shreveport, LA to James (Snuffy) and Virginia Anne Jackson. He passed away on August 5, 2014 at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. He was a resident of Keithville and a Southwood High School graduate. He was employed with Roundtree Ford as a service manager. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and a great little brother. He was a loving, caring person that always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Bar-B-Q's with family and friends and dog, OREO. Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Joshua Jackson; daughters, Ashley Jackson and Sunni Jackson; grandchildren, Brooklynn Jackson and Dylan Butler; sister, Tamie McAllister; brother, Steven Jackson.
