Larry Leon Zeagler

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Larry Zeagler, 78, were held at 10am Saturday , July 12, 2014, at the Summerfield Cemetery in Summerfield, Louisiana with Rev. Tim Herrington, officiating. Arrangements were entrusted of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Homer, Louisiana. Mr. Zeagler was born December 25, 1935 in Columbia, LA to Madison Andrew Zeagler and Darliss Marie Varnell Zeagler. He entered into rest on Wednesday, July 9th in Ruston following a lengthy illness. Mr. Zeagler was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from International Paper. Mr. Zeagler was preceded in death by his parents; also 2 brothers, Chadwick and Dalco Zeagler. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jackie Windsor Zeagler of Homer; daughters, Brenda Camp and husband, James of Homer, Betty Ann Bortz and husband, Rob of Homer, Linda Wilks and husband James of Hebert, Jennifer Deaton of Homer and Danielle Deaton of Homer; brother, Curtis Zeagler of Homer; 10 grandchildren, Sara, Amanda, Samantha, Ellen, April, Josh, Lacey, Blaine, Scarlet and Vivian; 5 great-grandchildren, Dylan , Garrison, Christian, Michael and Daniel . Pallbearers were Michael Zeagler, Glen Zeagler, Kenneth Zeagler, Dillon Zeager, Brooks Stapleton, Micheal Dallas Robert and Joshua Zeagler.
