Lawrence Bradon Bass

Funeral services for Lawrence “Larry” Bradon Bass, 70, will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Howard Hall.

Larry was born on May 26, 1954, to Lawrence R. Bass and his mother, Patsy, and passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in Shreveport.

Anyone that knew Larry, knew he loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to make people laugh. He worked for Stephenson Floors from 1972 to 2015 where he retired.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; and grandfather, Reginald Harlan. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Rita Bass; sons, Jasper Greer and wife, Sarah, and Larry Bass “Cooter” and wife, Veronica; daughters, Donna Peace and husband, Jack, and Kellie Brooks; sister, Rhonda Moore and husband, Jay; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives; and lots of good friends.

Larry will be greatly missed but the family will forever love and cherish his memory.
