Lawrence "Larry" Clayton Williams

Lawrence Clayton Williams, 67, of Shreveport, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2023.  Lawrence was born on January 14, 1956 in Shreveport to Buddy and Dixie Williams.

A visitation celebrating his life will be held from 2:00 p.m.  until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023  located at  Rose-Neath Funeral Home-2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport,  Louisiana.

Larry graduated from Southwood High School in  1975. He was employed as Chief Operating Master at Ochsner LSU Hospital for 10 years, and he also operated William’s Photography. In his free time, Larry enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was passionate for all animals. He had several animals that he fed and cared for throughout his entire life, both pets and strays. Larry read his bible daily and shared his beliefs amongst others. To know him was to love him. Larry will be most remembered by loved ones as a private person with a dry sense of humor that kept his family and friends entertained. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Williams.  He is survived by his mother, Dixie Williams; sisters, Becky Long (Kyle) and Carolyn Wharton; son, Mark Williams; grandchildren, Allie, Eli, and Nova; ex-wife, Peggy Williams; along with several relatives including an aunt, nieces, and nephews.
