Funeral services for Mr. Leland Dwayne Posey, 44, of Coushatta, LA, will be held Saturday, December 23, at Rose-Neath Chapel in Coushatta. Visitation will begin at 9 AM and the procession will begin at 10:30 AM. Officiating at graveside service will be Rev. William Hall of Abundant Life Center, and internment will be at Bethany Church Cemetery. Mr. Posey was born October 15, 1974, in Shreveport, LA and passed away December 20, 2017. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Joyce Posey; his maternal grandparents Lee and Lannie Nugent; his brother Roy Don Barnard, and nephews Clay Barnard and Jackie Fowler. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Posey; his father Jackie Posey, mother Angela Barnard, and step-father Roy Barnard; his sons Leland Posey Jr. and Joseph Guy; daughters Deanna and Faith Posey and Rebecca Guy; his sisters Stephanie Fowler and husband Tommy, Chelsea and Jennifer Barnard, and Delanie Dowden and husband Travis; his brother Chris Posey and wife Paula, brothers Phillip, and James "J.C." Posey and wife Tristan, and Andrew and Johnny Barnard and wife Cindy. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Dowden, Justin Scott, Eric "Woody" Long, Jessie Davis, and Colton and Kyle Posey. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick and Tommy Fowler, and Dub Barnard.
