Lena Lahoma Sherwood

Zwolle, LA - Memorial services honoring the life of Lena Lahoma Sherwood, 92, will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, LA with her granddaughter, Cyndi Stump officiating.

Lena was born on August 7, 1923 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jenny Butler and Lester Whitaker and passed away on August 5, 2016 in Zwolle, LA with her family by her side.

Proceeding her in death were her parents, Jenny Butler and Lester Whitaker; Daughter, Maie Edwards; Brothers, Lester Whitaker JR., Jim Whitaker and Short Whitaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Ed Sherwood of Zwolle; Sons, Kenny Edwards of Midland, TX, Steve Edwards, Zwolle, LA, Carolle Buckley of Zwolle, LA; Grandchildren, Janelle Erwin of Iowa, Jackie Stacy of Texas, Cyndi Stump of Colorado, Cherri Copelandof California, Donald Wright of Texas, and Wayne Wright of Texas and a host of great and great great grandchildren.
