SHREVEPORT, LA - A Service Celebrating the life of Leo Clifton Ebarb, 97, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA, with Jerry Hodge officiating. Entombment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Longview, TX. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018, at the funeral home.
Leo was born December 28, 1920, in Noble, LA to Annie Ruth Meshell Ebarb and Hosea Ebarb and passed away January 30, 2018, in Shreveport, LA. University Church of Christ was his pride and joy. He was involved for many years in the Care and Share program, Northwest LA Food Bank, youth group, and Ark-La-Tex Christian Encampment.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Rufus, his sister Mary, first wife Elvida G. Ebarb, and his second wife, Floy Ebarb. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sherri Ayres and husband, Andrew, Lynda Reed and husband, Leon; grandchildren, Tiffany Pace, April Pejic, Courtney Todd, Brandon Foster, Clifton Foster, Mallory Dees, Ashley Brantley, Meagan Jacobs, Shelby Reed and Jonathan Walker; and twelve great-grandchildren.
