Funeral Services for Leo (Dabae) Lewis; age 68 ; of Marksville, LA., will be held at 10 AM on Friday November14, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville, LA. with Fr. Abraham Varghese officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Ghost Catholic Church Cemetery in Marksville, LA. under the direction of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville. Mr. Lewis passed away on Thursday November 6, 2014 in Hill-Top Nursing & Rehab Center in Pineville, LA. He was born to Percy and Elnora Lavalais Lewis on November 30, 1945. His maternal grandparents were Forest and Angeline McGee Lavalais and his paternal grandparents were Louis and Florence Juneau Lewis. Mr. Lewis worked at Nancy's Restaurant in Marksville for over 30 years and only retired due to illness. He was preceded in death by his father Percy Lewis, his mother Elnora Lavalais Lewis; one brother James Percy Lewis; two sisters Josephine Lewis Mose and Velma Lewis Andrews. He is survived by twobrothers: John Roland Lewis of Oklahoma City, OK. and Bernard Lewis of Seattle, WA.; one sister: Irma Lewis Young of Marksville, LA. and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 8 AM until service time on Friday November 14, 2014 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville.
