Funeral services for Leola Mae Hardy Baker will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Bishop Dee Adams. Interment will follow at Vivian Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Rose-Neath Bossier.
Leola was born December 20, 1936 in Natchitoches Parish, LA to Frances and Coleman Hardy and died October 22, 2017 in Bossier City. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Leola had retired after 16 years and 4 months in food service at St. Pius X Daycare.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Dean Baker, Sr.; son, Harold (Dean) Baker Jr. and sister, Bonnie Marshing.
Leola is survived by her son, Paul Baker and wife, Miriam; daughters, Diana Kent and husband, Richard, Betty Small and husband, Rusty; grandchildren, Kelli Tomsak, Amy Sampson, Shawn Arthur, Angela Weeks, Samantha Elliott, P2 Baker, Chris Baker, Trey Snipes, Jessica Small, Levi Small, Chase Baker and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, A.J. Hardy, Juanita Paige, Merle Grant, Earl Hardy and George Hardy.
Honoring Leola as pallbearers will be, P2 Baker, Chris Baker, Chase Baker, Levi Small, Chad LaCroix and Justin Ross.
