Leonard Foster Batts

Leonard Foster Batts, 80, of Cleveland, Texas entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2021 in Logansport, Louisiana. Graveside services honoring Leonard will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery located in Stanley, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be his longtime friend, Woody Baldridge. Leonard was born on June 2, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Reuben Batts and Nettie Rea Glaze Batts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Nettie Rea Batts; son, Daniel Mark Batts; and sister, Lavern Estes. He is survived by his sons, Ruben Batts and wife Erin of Early, TX and Leonard Batts, Jr. "Bo" and wife Glyna of Abilene, TX; daughters, Danna Gilbert and husband Dennis of Kaplan, LA and Deborah Jackson and husband Jeff of Conroe, TX; Kevin Hilborn and Matt Hilton who Leonard thought of as sons; along with 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
