Leota Mae Willis Leota Mae Willis, 92, passed away peacefully June 24, 2015 in Shreveport. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Don Hartsell. Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery located in Smyrna, Texas. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Leota was born September 24, 1922 in Garvin, Oklahoma. She was devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a longtime member of Walker Rd. Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Joe Hartsell; husband, O.C. Willis, Jr., and grandson Sean Grady. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jim Willis, Dr. Richard Willis and wife Teresa; daughters, Kaye Cage and husband Kent, Cathy Davis and husband Tony; grandchildren, Ashley Willis, Carrie Morgan and husband Billy, Kelley Sherling and husband Dan, Bo Willis and wife Ashley, West Fontenot, Josh Fontenot, and Jake Fontenot; great-grandchildren, Kavan Morgan, Drew Morgan, Behr Sherling, and Mirabel Sherling. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Staff at The Oaks of Louisiana for all their compassionate care. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
