Leroy Grooms

Graveside services for Leroy Grooms will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Scotty Guillot. Leroy was born December 17, 1932, in Aileene, Arkansas and entered into rest August 10, 2021, in Minden, Louisiana. He was an oil field supervisor for Hollingsworth Construction Company for 42 years. He is survived by his wife Pat Wills Grooms of Minden; sons, James Steve Grooms of Cotton Valley and John Grooms and wife Teresa of Sibley; daughters, Deborah Bethea of Minden and Vickie Cox and husband Glyn of Cotton Valley; brother, Wilford Grooms; ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Shawn Grooms, Austin Grooms, Jacob Carter, Cameron Brown, Garrett Brown, Tyler Tharpe, and Trevor Tharpe. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Bethea, Ian Sublett, Aiden Cooper, John Michael Grooms, Kolby Cooper, Chase Cooper, and Wyatt Grooms.
