Stonewall, LA - Lesha was born August 5, 1965 to Linda and Vernon Weaver and went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2015 after a hard fought and valiant battle with cancer. Her testimony was that the Lord got her through and He would take her home when He was ready.
Lesha was preceded in death by her dearly loved grandparents, Beatrice and Robert Brown, Jr.; her parents, Linda Wendling and Vernon Weaver, Sr.; step mother, Peggy Weaver and her most loved brother, Vernon Weaver, Jr. along with a host of dearly loved family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her dearly loved husband, Dale; daughters, Amanda Thompson, Tasha Jones, and Nikki Williams; and sons, Gary Sims and Zachery Hayes.
Pallbearers will be Chris Stone, Douglas McWaters, David Brown, Lonnie Freeman, Jason Freeman, and Jared Freeman.
Services to celebrate her life will be at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. and visitation with the family will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Lesha was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an inspiration to all the staff and many friends that she came to love at the Cancer Treatment Center. She loved them all and greatly appreciated their excellent and loving care of her and Dale.
Lesha was funny and always tried to lighten the load of people and herself with laughter or a joke. She was a wonderful cook.
She will be missed by all and cherished by many.
