Leslie Badiali, 78, of Mansfield, LA, passed away on May 4, 2015 in Shreveport, LA.
Funeral services will be held at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home on May 8, 2015 at 10:00 am with Bro. Bob Latham of Antioch Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church, Mansfield, LA. Visitation will be held at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home on May 7, 2015 from 5-9 pm.
Leslie was born in Fresno, California to Marion and Florence Badiali on November 14, 1936. He graduated from Fresno High School in 1954. He joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served until 1963. After moving to Louisiana he began working at Valley Electric where he advanced from Lineman to District Manager over his 37 ½ years. He was a friend and mentor to scores of co-workers. Leslie served his Lord as a deacon at Antioch Baptist Church. He enjoyed horse riding, car racing, boating, camping, square dancing, hunting and woodworking. Leslie was honored to hold positions in numerous civic organizations: Past Master of Liberty Lodge #123, Past President of DeSoto Chamber of Commerce, Past President of Mansfield Band Boosters, Past Commander of American Legion Post #300, and member of the DeSoto Regional Hospital Association.
Leslie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Yvonne Badiali of Mansfield. Also left to cherish his memory are his twin brother Leonard Badiali and wife Gee, sister Mickey Vermon, two daughters Pam Moore and husband Creig and Marva Anderson and husband Dennis, son Keith Badiali and wife Kim, grandchildren Marsha Hayes and husband Dustin, Ashley Laffitte, Cade Badiali and Gracyn Badiali and great grandsons Braydon and Cooper Hayes along with a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother LeRoy Badiali. He was joined in heaven on the same day by his sister-in-law Evelyn Ebert.
