Funeral services for Leslie Rene Hill, 60, will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Brian Opbroek and Rev. Denny Duron. Leslie was born on March 15, 1961 to Milburn Blair Holmes and Almeda Nunley in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 in Shreveport. Leslie was a resident of Shreveport and cleaned houses for a living. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1979 and was a member of Shreveport Community Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Pam Talley. Left to cherish her memory is her spouse of 43 years, Tony; three sons, Chris Hill and wife, Brandy, Matt Hill, Colby Hill and wife, Brittani; four grandsons, Austyn, Tanner, Dalton and Conner; two granddaughters, Ella Kate and Allie Brook; and brother, Scott Holmes. Honoring Leslie as pallbearers will be Austyn Hill, Tanner Hill, Dalton Hill, Conner Hermes, Jordan Talley and Destin Talley. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ella Kate Hill and Allie B. Hill. The family would like to express special thanks to the Shreveport Fire Department and EMS. Also thank-you to Dr. Brown and the rest of the staff at Christus Highland Hospital.
