Leslie Joe Sistrunk

GREENWOOD, LA - Graveside services for Leslie Joe Sistrunk, 68, will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 5-7:00 p.m. Leslie was born in Converse, LA on September 30, 1947 to Hoyt and Hazel Sistrunk and passed away on May 24, 2016. He is a Veteran of the USAF, and proudly served his country. Some of his hobbies were car racing, bowling and football. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents Hoyt Orell Sistrunk and Hazel Edwards Sistrunk. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Rebecca Sistrunk; sons, Matthew Sistrunk and Steven Sistrunk and wife, JoAnn; daughters, Cindy Paton and Sandy Hannah and husband, Martin; grandchildren, Grace Ann Paton, Cameron and Cooper Sistrunk; nephew, Danny Ray Wells, Jr.; sister, Betty Sistrunk Wells, along with numerous family and friends.
