Lessie Mae "Nanny" White

A graveside service for Lessie Mae "Nanny" White will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pineville, LA. Officiating will be Rev. John Warner. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Lessie was born June 18, 1933 in Alexandria, LA to Earl and Nina Flowerree and died December 31, 2017 in Bossier City. She was a member of Ye Olde Faith Baptist Church and a former member of Palestine Methodist Church in Ball, LA. She also was a former member and Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star of Tioga, LA. Lessie was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troyce White; her parents and a sister, Earline Talbot. Lessie is survived by daughters, Debra White of Louisville, KY, Cherryl White of Bossier City; sister, Aline Smith; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
