  Logansport, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Lester Barber, 90, will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA with Reverend Richard Plunkett officiating. Burial will follow at Pollard Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 5:00 till 9:00 PM. Lester was born on August 27, 1926 in Desoto Parish, LA to George and Annice Barber and entered into rest on February 19, 20174 in Center, TX. Lester was a loving father and grandfather. Preceding Lester in death were his parents, George and Annice Barber. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son Shane Barber and wife Candi of Center, TX; daughter, Lynn Barber; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
