Graveside services will be held for Levi W. Tawwatters, age 92, at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Alabama Cemetery in Arcadia. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to service at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Levi was born August 9, 1925, in Bienville Parish, to Lem and Willie Davidson Tawwatters. He entered into rest on Thursday, October 26, in Bossier City, LA. Levi served his country proudly during WWII in the U.S. Army. After the war, Levi started working at Louisiana Power and Light until retirement.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Tawwatters, daughter-in-law Louise Tawwatters, and infant brother.
He is survived by his children, Ronald Tawwatters, Ricky Tawwatters, and Pam Colvin and husband Steve, by grandchildren, Chad Tawwatters and wife Jenny, Malinda Rogers and husband David, Chaney Tawwatters and wife Nadja, Candice Sharp and husband Billy, Julie Carter and husband Clay, and Michael Baker and wife Kellie, by great grandchildren, Jonah, Ben, Brady, Christian, J.P., Alexis, Logan, Ann, Taylor, Kemmerley, Skyler, Jacob, Ryan, Grace, Allyson, Alex and Dylan, and by brother Norman Tawwatters.
