Visitation for Linda Ree Wynn Blakely, 79, of Shreveport, LA will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with a memorial service following at 4:00 p.m. Officiating will be Dr. Murry Hodge. A private burial by immediate family will be held at a later date in New Ramah Cemetery, Haynesville, LA.
Ms. Blakely, also known as Granny, was born on December 2, 1939 in Emerson, AR and passed away on January 19, 2019 after a battle with lung and kidney disease. She was a resident of Shreveport for the past twenty years and was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. She was a Certified Public Accountant and worked for numerous companies throughout the South over her career. Ms. Blakely graduated with a B.B.A. in Accounting in 1974 from Southern State College and was the first graduate with a perfect 4.0 GPA in 49 years.
Ms. Blakely was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Euna Wynn; sister, Anna McNatt; brothers, David C. and Donald C. Wynn; son, Robert Odis Aylmer Blakely; and granddaughter, Crystal Whetzel.
She is survived by her son, Paul Blakely and wife Karen of Pearland, TX; son, David Blakely and wife Laura of Fayetteville, AR; as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Granny will be missed by her family and friends, but the family wishes all to celebrate with them the great reward she has now received being together with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
