Linda G. Bonner

Funeral Services for Linda G. Bonner will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. A visitation will be held On Monday, August 14, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend Paul Dowden.

Linda was born on May 11, 1952, to Lawrence Anglin and Dorothy “Dottie” Conqueror, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on Monday, August 8, 2023, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Linda was a very loving, compassionate, caring woman known by many different names. She came into this world as a daughter and sister and became a wife when she married her soulmate Don on December 14, 1979. She then experienced life’s greatest joy when she received the title of Mother. She had three sons who she loved and devoted herself to. She held a very noble title as a Nurse, and she dedicated her life to helping and caring for others in their time of need for over 35 years. She retired from Schumpert Medical Center and then went to work in the Veterans War Home. She was always able to make everything and everyone better and was nicknamed “Dr. Mom’ by her children and their friends. She got the pleasure of being a GiGi/Grandmother to her adoring grandchildren and was honored to be called a friend by the many wonderful people who were a part of her life. Linda was known to be an amazing cook and made many meals from scratch. Cooking was a passion for her that brought her much joy and she enjoyed sharing her kitchen, talent, and recipes with her grandchildren. Linda loved her family with all her heart, and they adored her with all of theirs. She made such a difference in the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dustin Bonner; sisters, Elizabeth Griffis and Dorothy McDonald. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald Bonner; sons, Donnie Bonner, and wife, Andrea, Danny Bonner, and fiancé, Blair Rose; stepson, David Ball; sister, Wanda Mooney; brothers, Charles and Billy Goode and grandchildren, Zoe, Gabe, Gracie, Ashton, Tristan and Dustin Bonner and Maci and Chelci Ball.

Honoring Linda as pallbearers will be Donnie Bonner, Danny Bonner, Brandon Oswalt, Charles Goode, and John Wesley Goode. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dustin and Gracie Bonner.
