Linda Kay Chism

MANSFIELD, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Linda K. Chism, 72, will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Old Union Baptist Church in Benson, LA with Reverend Alton Middleton and Reverend Rusty Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Benson, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 6PM till 8PM and Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 5 PM till 8PM. Linda was born on February 15, 1945 and entered into rest on November 5, 2017. She was the daughter of Reverend Alvon and Sadie Hall. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Ronnie Chism of Mansfield, LA; daughter, Lillian Wheless and husband Michael of Logansport, LA; son, Ronald Chism of Logansport, LA; sister, Charlotte Colquette of Monroe, LA; brother, Ray Hall of Virginia; grandchildren, Steven Cox, Justin Wheless, Russell Chism, Trey Chism, and Kelsey Chism; great grandchildren, Kannon, Deuce, Lilly, Brantley, Haylee, Kayden, Jessalyn, Laredon, and Corbin; special nephews, Rusty Hall, Tommy Hall and Mike Hall; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends. Honoring the life of Linda as pallbearers will be Steven Cox, Justin Wheless, Russell Chism, Trey Chism, Tommy Hall, and Mike Hall.
