Linda Litton Cowling

Linda Litton Cowling, 78, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2024, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Chapel, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery, Mitchell, Louisiana. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 She was born August 22, 1945, in Converse, Louisiana to James and Laura Lea Litton. Linda started working at Western Electric in 1967 throughout the years the company was known as AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya. She retired in 2001 from Avaya. 

 Preceding Linda in death were her parents, James and Laura Lea Litton; brothers Clifford Litton and Raymond Litton; and sisters, Edna Bernice Bailey.

 Left to cherish her memory are her lifelong companion, Pierre Colonna; sisters, Kay Litton, Norma Litton, and Cheryl Ebarb (Travis); brothers, Odis Litton, and Alton Litton; special niece, Kimberly Bailey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Honoring Linda as pallbearers will be Timothy Bailey, Randy Litton, Alton Litton, and Amanda Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Steely and Jimmy Bailey.

 The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Life Path Hospice and Heritage Manor West for the compassion and love they have shown Linda.
