Linda Johnston Hood

Visitation for Linda Johnston Hood will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with a graveside to follow at 12 noon at St. Rest Cemetery in Dubach, Louisiana.

Linda was born December 27, 1942, in Ruston, Louisiana and entered into rest October 2, 2024, in Minden, Louisiana following a sudden illness. Linda was raised in Downsville and Homer, Louisiana, graduating from Homer High School. She was a retired bank teller, where she worked for over 40 years at Minden and Regions Bank in Minden, Louisiana. She and Reese lived a full life together enjoying working in the yard, traveling, hunting and sharing many adventures. Linda loved her cooking and taking care of her pets.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie Couch Johnston, husband of 51 years, Kenneth Reese Hood, brothers, William “Billy” Johnston, Bobby Johnston, and J. Ross Johnston.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Paul Johnston and wife Kay, Lori Lakes and husband Jeff, Scott Johnston and wife Lisa, Aaron Johnston and wife Michelle, Lynn Johnston and Sherry Johnston
