Linda Ann Kabel

A graveside service for Linda Ann Kabel, 77, will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Rd., Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Bryan Reed.

Linda was born on January 8, 1947 to John G. Kabel and Gertrude Alice O’Brien Kabel in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Linda resided in the Haughton and Bossier City areas since the late seventies. Linda never met a stranger, if she met you, you were a friend. She always greeted you with, “How you doing, hon?” Linda loved to go shopping, especially at Lane Bryant and Catherine’s where the ladies there were just as excited to see her and help out. She also loved shopping at Wal-Mart on Airline Drive, where she could just walk from Cypress Pointe when it was on Douglas Drive.

She worked at CBARC for quite a while and loved the staff and absolutely loved working with the children and babies. While she was living at Cypress Pointe, she loved to help out in the dining room, and she loved to help the staff fold laundry. She always wanted to help. Linda will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister and aunt.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronnie Kabel; sisters, Joan Dominique and her sister, Gerry SanAngelo who took care of her after her parent's death. She is also preceded by her beloved niece, Missy SanAngelo, and best friend, Lois Schroeder. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends in the Bossier City, Haughton, and South Louisiana areas.

The family would like to thank all who have been with and helped Linda, including all the nurses and staff at Cypress Pointe over the years. Also, to the LifePath Hospice over the last few weeks, who made her passing peaceful.
