Linda Marie Salts

 A Celebration of Life for Linda Marie Salts, 67, will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana.

Linda was born on January 26, 1957 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Leo William Miles and Nancy Ann Nutting and passed away after a long and hard battle with cancer on Monday, December 30, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana, surrounded by her loved ones.

Linda lived most of her life in Shreveport, Louisiana. She attended Captain Shreve High School where she received her diploma. After high school, she spent most of her life in the service industry. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, whether they were watching movies or sitting outside watching her grandkid play.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Leo William Miles and step-mother, Dorothy Miles. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Jacob Salts and wife, Wendy, Jacqueline McDonnell and husband, Austin and Jade Salts; father of children, Donald Salts; grandchildren, Chris Wactor and wife, Connie, Casey Wactor and wife, Haley, Crystal Barmes and husband, Jon, Christopher Carey, Tyler Carey, Riley Barthold, Hannah McDonnell; five great-grandchildren; sister, Laurie Helms and husband, Kenny; brother, Bill Miles and wife, Kesy and several nieces and nephews. She will always be in our hearts and be deeply missed.

The family would like to express special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Willis Knighton Cancer Center as well as St. Joseph Hospice staff for the tremendous care they showed our mother.
