Converse, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Linda Procell, 57, will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Henrietta Congregational Methodist Church in Converse, LA with Reverend Chucky Clark and Reverend Jimmy Price officiating. Burial will follow at Converse Cemetery in Converse, LA. The family will receive friends at Henrietta Congregational Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 4:00 till 9:00 PM. Linda was born on October 7, 1959 in Natchez, MS to John D. and Lola Ruth Tanner and entered into rest on March 4, 2017 in Converse, LA. Linda was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Elvis Procell; parents, John D. and Lola Ruth Tanner; sons, David Elliott, Jr. and wife Rebecca, Jonathan Procell and wife Heather; daughters, Shelly Elliott, Jennifer Elliott Creel and husband Chad, Pamela Marr and husband Jeffery, Kimberly Meshell and husband Derek; brother, Johnny Tanner and wife Tamara; sisters, Debbie Tanner Cantrelle and husband Karl, Glenda Tanner, Pam Chanler and husband Ray; 17 grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding Linda in death was her son Rodney Joe Elliott. Those honoring the life of Linda as pallbearers will be Tyler Leggett, Adam Norton, Chief Tom Rivers, J.D. Procella, Stephen Chanler, and "Bush". Honorary Pallbearers will be Cameron Craig, Caden Craig, Candyn Craig, James Pinkston and Trey Smith.
