Mooringsport, LA - Linda Rhea Wallace, age 67, passed away, Monday, January 4, 2016 after a long illness. Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at a family residence in Fort Worth, TX. Please email LindaWallaceMemorial@gmail.com for further information.
Linda was born in Texarkana, AR in 1948 to Bettye Jean Markham and Leon Harmon Markham. She married Gerald Wallace in 1979. She worked for many years as an artist and enjoyed living in the various places that Gerald's jobs took them. Linda enjoyed painting wildlife portraits, riding her two horses, and spending time with her family. She had a passion for Native American artwork, sewing, gardening, and animals. Preceding Linda in death are her parents, and her husband of 35 years, Gerald Wallace. Linda is survived by daughter Teresa Collinsworth and son-in-law, Chris Collinsworth; grandchildren, Jacob Collinsworth and Samantha VanBuren and her husband, Brandon; three great grandchildren; sisters, Jennifer Stufflebeam and her husband Edward, Pat Block and her husband Larry; sisters-in-law Joanne Liberman, Brenda Wallace, Lorrie Wallace, and Sharon Scott; brothers-in-law Ron Wallace and Buddy Wallace.
