Funeral services for Linda R. Wingfield will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2016 a 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Kenneth Dehart officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Linda was born October 4, 1944 in New Albany, Indiana and entered into rest April 25, 2016 in Cotton Valley, Louisiana. She is survived by her father R.L. Atkins, Sr. of Jasper, Texas, husband Jim Wingfield of Cotton Valley, son Greg Wingfield and wife Tammy of Minden, daughters Christi Robertson of Minden, Lori January and husband Phillip of Wichita Falls, Texas, Wendy Harville and husband Heath of Athens, brothers James Atkins of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Robert Lee Atkins, Jr. of Jasper, Texas, grandchildren Michael Robertson, Jeffrey Robertson, Bryant Wingfield, Todd McCrary, Abby McCrary, Gemi Blythe, Logan Wingfield, Kaley Wingfield and great-grandchildren Lilly McFarland, Bryce Toland, and Trace McCrary.
