Born in Sulphur, Louisiana, to Robert "Bob" and Jean Taylor, Lise’ was a bright light whose life touched many. She was one of two children, growing up in Sulphur and graduating from Sulphur High School. Her passion for writing and organization led her to become the Greek and Organizations editor for the McNeese State University yearbook in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Her thirst for knowledge continued at Louisiana State University, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Library Science.
Lise’ dedicated her professional life to the world of genealogy, serving with dedication and skill at both the Genealogy department of Shreve Memorial Library in Shreveport, Louisiana, and Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana. Her keen interest in family history extended beyond her work, as she was an active member of a local Genealogy club. A woman of faith, Lise’ was a devoted and faithful member of her church community.
Beyond her professional and spiritual life, Lise’ had a warm and generous spirit. She enjoyed the arts, finding immense pleasure in musicals and theatre. She cherished her friendships, reveling in fellowship and delightful dinners with loved ones. Her gentle nature extended to her feline companions; she found immense comfort in cuddling with her four beloved cats.
