Funeral services celebrating the life of Ms. Livye Heathyr Lewis who went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2020, will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Francis Kamau officiating; interment will immediately follow at the church cemetery. A visitation for her will be held at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Many Chapel on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 12:00PM-9:00PM, with a rosary beginning at 6:30 PM. Livye was born October 4, 2001 in Shreveport, LA to Darci Clair Bass and Jeremy Heath Lewis and entered into rest on October 31, 2020 in Hemphill, TX.
Welcoming her into Heaven are her grandmother, Bonnie Sepulvado Self, her brother, Acen McCain Vines, her grandparents, Milton Lewis & Shirley Wells, Robert Otis & Elzado Rivers, Bobby Sepulvado & Juanita Lopez, and Raymond & Flora (Parrie) Bass. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Darci Clair Bass of Hemphill, TX; her father, Jeremy Heath Lewis of Zwolle, LA; her paternal grandparents, Randy & Janice Lewis of Zwolle, LA, her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Marilyn Bass of Zwolle, LA; her grandfather, Phillip Self of Jasper, TX; her brother, Weston Vines, her sister, Braelee Lewis her uncle, Josh Lewis, Sr., her uncle, Jacob Huggins, her aunt, Elisabeth Lewis, her aunt, Tonia Bass, Shelby Bass, and her special uncle, Tim Vines. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, friends, and other relatives.
Honoring her as lady pallbearers will be Sydney Ebarb, Camryn Panko, Kaitlyn Napier, Hayley Bass, Brittany Remedies, Tailer Nabours, Kaylee Pearson, Bayley Williams, and Kelly Holifield. Serving her as honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Lewis, Kane Lewis, Colby Pearson, Hunter Mosley, Tyler Frick, Joseph Hogan, Raine Hippler, Robert Sepulvado, Tristan Spurlock, Jr, and Zayn Williams. Her mini lady pallbearers will be Raylie Spurlock, Madalyn Huggins, and Eisley Huggins.
Although planned, she made her surprise introduction October 4, 2001 coming into the world just the way she lived bringing joy to everyone's life. To know her was to love her. Livye was a beautiful ray of sunshine that shown through her eyes. She could absolutely light up any room that she walked into with just her smile. She was always making someone laugh and had a laugh you would never forget. Liv's passion was caring for others. She worked as a CNA for two years at HCC. Her abundance of love could always be shown by the way "Liv's babies" loved her. She walked effortlessly through life with such confidence, grace, and determination. Livye made such a huge impact in her short life here on Earth, but she absolutely made the most of it. Livye enjoyed spending time with her family and friends enjoying the simple things in life. She was able to achieve many accomplishments, academically and overcome every obstacle that life through her way. Livye loved life and lived it to the fullest with no regrets or inhibitions. She was not only tough; she was independent and fearless, but kind. Livye was self-driven to do the best and to be the best for not only herself, but for the people she loved and wanted to make proud. Livye Heathyr Lewis was an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. "Her memory will live on forever and ever. #LongLiveLivye.
