Lonnie Cecil Alton

Springhill, LA - Graveside services for Lonnie Cecil Alton, 88, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Forest Park West. Rev. Garth Collier will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Lonnie was born October 27, 1928 in Taylor, Arkansas to Henry and Gracie Alton and went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 14, 2017. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was also a member of the Community Church of Webster Parish. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald Alton; grandson, Lonnie Grant Alton; granddaughter, Tina Michelle Alton; sisters Pauline Fussell, Betty McLain, Carnell Mays and Mary Lou Smith. Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Mary Alton; sons, Lonnie Alton and wife Shirley and Billy Alton and wife Alanna; grandson, Derek Alan Alton and wife Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Alton, Hadassah Alton and Idan Alton.
