Loraine Martha Daigrepont Smith

November 17, 1939 – February 11, 2025

Loraine our devoted and cherished mother went to meet her savior Jesus Christ on February 11, 2025.

She is now reunited in eternal rest with her beloved parents, Dallas Daigrepont and Medell (Dauzat) Daigrepont. Son, Steven James Smith. father of her 4 children, Roland M. Smith; brother, Tommy Daigrepont; Sister/Cousin, Roberta Fuqua; Niece, Sherri Smith; great niece, Riley McNeal.

She was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marksville.

She will be remembered as a wonderful mother for her dedication and kindness as well as her devotion to her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She will be missed but Loraine’s faith, love and kindness will continue to shine in the lives she touched.

Those who will forever cherish her memory include her sister, (right hand) Patsy Daigrepont; Brother, Terry Daigrepont (Wanda Gail); Children, Randy P. Smith (Gay), Connie G. Smith, Karen F. Smith; Neices, Destini Smith and Ali Riche; nephew, Braiden Smith; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins.

As per Loraine’s request there will be no services. She asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Josephs Catholic Church.
