LORENE W. MCDONALD   KEITHVILLE, LA - Funeral services for Lorene W. McDonald, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with visitation being held prior to the service beginning at 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Minister Joe Huffman will officiate. Lorene was born on April 5, 1931 in Jonesboro, AR to Thomas and Billie Walters and passed away on May 18, 2016. She retired from AT&T where she worked as an Electronic Technician. In 1958 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Wayne McDonald, Sr. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years Kenneth McDonald, Sr., grandson, Kenneth W. McDonald III, sister Maureen Thole, infant sister Juanita Walters, niece Julie Walters and brothers-in-law Richard J. Albrecht, Sr. and Ed Thole. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Kenny McDonald; daughter, Billie Jo McDonald Lynn Beshea and husband, Wesley; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Josophene Albrecht; brother, Thomas H. Walters, Jr. and wife, Doris, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family would like to say thank you to their special family friends, Susie Farnell and Karen Kenny and the staff at Heritage Manor South for all the loving care they gave to Lorene.
