Loretta Jean Riffle

Shreveport, LA - A Memorial service celebrating the life of Loretta Jean Cox Riffle, 70, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Loretta was born on May 10, 1945 in Tulsa, OK. She moved to Evansville, IN and married Charlie Riffle. They had one son, Jason Riffle. Loretta was a Beautician in Shreveport for over 40 years. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, and maintaining the "finest" yard in the neighborhood. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Charlie Riffle, and her mother, Christine Franklin. She is survived by her son, Jason Riffle and wife, Lori; beloved grandchildren, Jase and Hudson and her sister, Sharon Lewis. Also, she leaves behind her loyal companion, Gabby. She was very thankful to be so loved by the Thompson family, as well as numerous friends, clients and neighbors over the years. She entered into Heaven on November 10, 2015 and will be greatly missed here on earth.
